Hot air spreading down Western Australia on Wednesday could rival Perth’s September temperature record. Perth’s highest temperature recorded for the month of September is 34.2C in 2014. Official forecasts for Wednesday are predicting temperatures to hover 10C to 12C above the September average which could see the capital city break its 2014 record. Parts of Western Australia are already suffering from sweltering temperatures, which has recently become the norm across most of Australia in the month of September. The WA heat is expected to move over into Southeast Australia in the coming days and will see temperatures rise by the end of this week heading into next week.
