A-level results day is just around the corner which is a scary time for a lot of teens: everything you need to know about the big day
It's the last big results day before many kids head off to university, start work or jet off on a gap year. And A-level results can be a scary day for teens across the country, as it will determine which of the above options will happen next.
With just weeks to go until that big day, we've compiled a list of the important information you need to know.What about AS-Levels, T-levels or Level 3 VTQs? These will all come out on 15 August too. And Scottish Highers? In Scotland, students have different qualifications, Highers, which are similar to A-levels.What time do results come out? Results come out at 8am, however, it will be different depending on your child's school or college's opening hours or specific arrangements – so check with them first.
How do the results come through? On A-Level results day, usually students can pick their results up in physical form at school or college. If the results aren't collected, they will be posted to you. When will my child know if they got into uni? If your child applied to a university and received a conditional offer, for example, they'd receive a place at a uni if they get three B grades at A-level, they will find out on results day whether this place has been confirmed.Can exams be remarked? If you believe an exam result is incorrect, you can speak to the school or college. Marks can be reviewed by the exam board.
