Natalie McMullen has shared her tips for anyone heading to Worthy Farm this week
An avid festival goer has revealed her top tips for dressing stylishly yet sensibly at Glastonbury - including a ban on trainers and using plastic bags.
The festival is renowned for being muddy, hot with lot of walking involved. Natalie explained that although wearing an eye-catching outfit is important, staying comfy is key.She said: “The most important thing is to make sure you're comfortable. Glastonbury is the size of a city and you'll walk about 40,000 steps a day. You can balance style with practicality though - mix it up! You can put a little sequin dress under a raincoat and still look cool.
One area Natalie doesn't compromise on comfort is her footwear. She always wears walking boots and even avoids trainers following several bad experiences walking around the festival site. "One year I wore Doc Martens and I didn't even make it out of the campsite. My feet literally had holes in them. I cannot stress enough how important comfy shoes are. It doesn't matter whether they don't go with your outfit - walking boots are what I always go for."
