Often, we'll see a lot of custom looks from the biggest fashion houses on the Cannes red carpet. The process for getting these, according to Smith, is "much quicker" compared to other events. Cultivating those relationships with brands, Smith continues, is key not only because they'll come through with the product, but because they can help the talent feel at ease at a really nerve-wracking moment of their lives and careers.
