An effigy of Balder the Brave was featured in Loki Season 2, Episode 3, but it did not go into detail about the missing Asgardian god, Thor's brother.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Loki Season 2, Episode 3 featured a scene that was both perplexing and exciting in equal measure as it featured a diorama depiction of Thor's thus-far unmentioned missing brother, Balder the Brave, but stopped short of elaborating on what happened to him.
Loki Finally Confirms Balder The Brave Exists When viewing the Norse diorama at the Chicago World Fair, and inwardly lamenting his own omission from it, both Loki and Mobius acknowledged Balder's existence, albeit in different ways, with Loki wondering "Why did they include Balder. No one's even heard of him," to which Mobius retorts, "Sure they have, 'Balder the Brave.
Is Balder The Brave Dead? Balder being acknowledged by Loki yet omitted from the MCU - despite being the half-brother of Thor and a member of the Norse pantheon - leaves one pretty glaring clue about his fate: he is dead. Balder not showing up at all during Asgard's destruction at the hands of Surtur is pretty hard to explain away otherwise. Assuming this is the case, then Balder could actually be enjoying eternity in Valhalla, now alongside Heimdall and Jane Foster, AKA The Mighty Thor.
