, Australian Council of Social Service CEO Cassandra Goldie has joined calls for Gladys Berejiklian to institute a harder lockdown across Greater Sydney.
"We have to look afresh every day at needs to change and clearly at the moment, the lockdown measures we think probably do need to be – look at the medical advice. Asked by host Ellen Fanning whether she believes that the strategy in NSW should be to get rid of the virus, instead of aiming at vaccine targets, Ms Goldie said "we have to get serious about bringing down the numbers of cases here".
