Australia presently lacks persuasive techniques and targeted messaging for culturally and linguistically diverse populations, yet we know our aged care workers are often from overseas. We are failing these people.In between the world of poor access and the hamlet of hesitancy, there is one more place we need to think about.
However, this problem should not be dumped onto aged care workers. They need better access, they need help addressing hesitancy, but they also need to be the target of building demand. So do over-50s. There are so many reasons for eligible Australians to get vaccinated now, but we are not hearing enough about those reasons. If we continue ourand don’t start getting people excited about vaccination, it’s going to generate even more problems and inequities.
