On the 25th anniversary of Manchester City's Second Division play-off final win, Manchester City can look back from a completely different position.

Their Premier League title was the fourth in succession - something not even Ferguson's United side could manage at the peak of their powers.
These days, it's City taking over Manchester for their annual trophy parades, while United are left to finish eighth, without a Premier League title in 11 years and without hope of that run ending anytime soon. If United's treble was a 13th trophy in seven years, City have lifted 17 in the last seven years, including six league titles.
