Isabel Ramey, a Flower Mound resident, remembers her conflicting feelings while planning her first wedding.Most weddings require couples to shell out money for linens, silverware and food on top of the cost of renting a venue. Decorative items like a chandelier can add a few hundred dollars to a wedding tab.
Before Ramey’s team began working on the mansion, the exterior was a stone rock facade that was reminiscent of the ’80s. A large spiral staircase winds its way from the first floor up to the third floor at Bella Mansions in Sanger.The mansion was intended to be a sprawling showpiece for the Powell family. Joe, Julie and their daughter, Shahla, were going to live in the mansion, which doubled as a private residence and entertaining space. The ranch was going to be devoted to raising Appaloosa horses.
