Several installments in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, including the 1984 original film, are leaving the streaming service this month.
Starting at the end of the month, 1984’s cultslasher is leaving the streaming service. The movie introduced to worldwide audiences the iconic character of Freddy Krueger, portrayed by Robert Englund.
The original film also starred John Saxon, Ronee Blakley, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, Nick Corri, and Johnny Depp.was a critical and box-office success, spurring a franchise that counts nine movies and other media.
