offense was during Sunday’s win, they got the job done. A key part of this was the efficiency of the running game, which was led by the duo of Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt.Deshaun Watson to address the media Wednesday before practice, meaning he could be trending towards the Colts game Sunday
Individually, Ford finished with 84 yards on 17 carries , and Hunt gained 47 yards on 12 carries and one touchdown. In combination, that’s 131 yards on 29 carries and seven rushing first downs. They really displayed what can be done when given the chance to run, as Hunt powers his way down the middle, while Ford prefers the dazzling moves towards the outside.
The Browns offense was balanced as 34 of their 68 total plays were designed runs, with Ford and Hunt accounting for all but five of them. With a lack of consistent play in the quarterback position, the run game should be further emphasized in the following weeks.
