Here's what we know about where the parties stand on the issues that matter to young voters ahead of Saturday's state election.Labor has committed to spending $1.9 billion on mental health, alcohol and other drug services from 2022 to 2027, partially funded by a mental health tax paid by big businesses.

If they win the balance of power, The Greens have promised to employ 1,000 clinical and registered psychologists at 200 new free public health clinics across Queensland. The Greens are promising Queenslanders 20 free psychology sessions each year.Labor, the LNP and the Greens have all committed to keeping 50 cent public transport fares. The Greens have pledged to go further by making public transport free by 2026.

Labor is also consulting on a rental sector code of conduct to set minimum conduct standards for property managers, rental property owners and renters, with penalties for non-compliance.The Greens have promised to freeze rents for two years and cap annual increases at 1 per cent. Agents and landlords will be required to renew all fixed-term leases unless they have a good reason not to, the notice period to refuse a lease renewal will be increased to six months.
