Several sites, including the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, will host viewing parties for the solar eclipse on Oct. 14.On Oct. 14, the moon will pass between Earth and the sun and create a partial solar eclipse known as an annular or “Ring of Fire” eclipse. In Dallas-Fort Worth, the eclipse will begin around 11:41 a.m. and peak at more than 80% coverage around 11:52 a.m.
