Mustafar Became A Shrine After Darth Vader's Death Following Vader's demise, Mustafar became a place of worship. While Darth Vader was hated by most, he was revered by dark side acolytes that lived on after the original fall of the Sith. Dark side practitioners traveled to the domain of evil, where it became a shrine in the wake of the Empire. In the decades that followed, Vader's castle crumbled, quickly turning into a large field of debris.
