Where the cast of Matilda are now as new film trailer is released
Over 20 years since Roald Dahl’s classic book Matilda was adapted on the big screen, the popular children’s book is set to be given a on-screen makeover once again.
But as a whole new cast prepares to put their stamp on the iconic book, let’s take a look at what the 1996 film’s cast are up to now… Since appearing in Matilda, 34 year old Mara took a 12-year long hiatus from the world of acting to pursue her love of writing. Danny DeVito Since appearing in the popular film alongside his then-wife Rhea Perlman as Matilda’s dad Harry, Danny DeVito’s career has gone from strength-to-strength and he has cemented himself as one of the most familiar names in Hollywood.
Rhea, 74, is also a talented writer and is the author of the illustrated children’s book series Otto Undercover.
