The White House has dismissed speculation that the four mysterious objects shot down over North American airspace in recent days have extra-terrestrial origins.
However, the commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command was less certain about the objects strictly hailing from Earth.
Social media has been rife with chatter about the possibility several unidentified objects shot down in North American airspace in recent days are from outer space. Authorities are still working to recover debris from the remaining three objects, with the original spy balloon having been recovered off the coast of South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach and sent to the FBI Laboratory. “These objects did not closely resemble and were much smaller than the PRC balloon, and we will not definitively characterise them until we can recover the debris, which we are working on,” the spokesperson said.
