A woman and husband have been charged after a video showed them threatening an African-American mum and daughter in a car park.
A video of the woman drawing her gun went viral on social media drawing accusations of racism. The group got into an argument after bumping into one another at a Chipotle restaurant in Oakland County, Michigan on Wednesday.
Before the heated incident, Ms Wuestenberg reportedly jumped out of her car and bumped into Takelia Hill’s teen daughter, Makayla Green prompting Ms Hill to ask for an apology. Ms Wuestenberg then began yelling. Ms Green said she then called over her mother, who approached as Ms Wuestenberg was yelling at her daughter.The group then argued, with Ms Wuestenberg and her husband, Eric Wuestenberg, getting angry after the mum and teen called them “ignorant” and “racist” according to reports.
Police from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in Pontiac said during a press conference on Thursday that six 911 calls were made in response to the incident.
