The Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) has released a plan for COVID-19 which would allow for the world to end the acute phase of the pandemic.
Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warns in the document that the world must be vigilant going forward as new variants are expected to emerge.
