Former Xero Australia managing director Trent Innes is taking on the top job at HR tech company Compono on Monday.
resigned from the cloud accounting software giant in May 2021, he admits he had his pick of job opportunities.

The business has previously raised $5 million from investors such as Deepbridge Capital, Maropost Ventures, Marshall Investments andIts customers include Aurizon, KiwiRail, News Corp and the Victorian state government.
“I was looking for a company that was still founder led. It was quite deliberate. They’ve created an amazing business that’s gone through the start-up phase, now my skill set is in helping them scale.”
