Asked whether he felt personally responsible for the Jan. 6 insurrection after giving his 'taking down names and kicking ass' speech that day, Mo Brooks said he was clearly talking about beating 'RINO' Republicans in the primaries.
Congressman Mo Brooks jokingly asked for a job with MSNBC and challenged host Chris Hayes to a debate that the 2020 presidential election was ridden with fraud in a bizarre interview Wednesday night where Hayes asked the candidate in Alabama’s U.S. Senate GOP primary runoff: “Why are you on my show?”
Brooks said he doesn’t avoid any live shows -- the special was broadcast live -- but is wary of recorded shows where his statements could be spliced and taken out of context. ,” Brooks said he was clearly talking about “beating Republicans [sic] in the 2022 elections ... that’s whose derrieres we have to kick.”“Anybody who was there .. knows what I’m talking about. It had nothing to do with what happened at the United States Capitol,” Brooks said.
