Prime Minister Scott Morrison has issued a blunt warning to Kanye West after the Novak Djokovic saga.
The artist, who has 22 Grammys to his name, is said to be planning to bring his Donda tour down under, in a move that could prove lucrative to the hard hit entertainment industry.
“It doesn't matter who you are, they are the rules. Follow the rules, you can come. You don’t follow the rules, you can’t.” While lawyers for Mr Djokovic argued his recent Covid-19 infection was the reason he was not vaccinated, Mr Hawke said his anti-vaccination views were enough to refuse his visa.Under Australia’s current border rules, a foreign citizen must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption to enter the country.
