Baylan Skoll has sent Shin Hati away in Ahsoka.

Baylan has easily become one of the Star Wars series' most compelling characters, especially with his motives for going to Peridea and what he seeks there shrouded in such mystery. Starting as a mercenary hired by Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan is ready to go in full pursuit of the power that calls to him.
While much of what Baylan seeks and even where he comes from is still uncertain, Shin has always been consistent in remaining at his side. Baylan has proved to be protective of his apprentice, and he's often spoken to her as if she'll be playing an important part in whatever he'll gain on Peridea.
Shin Was Once Vital To Baylan's Plans - But Not Anymore In Ahsoka episode 6, Baylan tells Shin that he wants more for her than to just become another Bokken Jedi as Ezra Bridger has. This sentiment echoes what Baylan's been saying the entire series, in both Shin and himself gaining the power of what calls to him on Peridea. Now, just one episode later, Baylan has dismissed his student without a second thought, as if she's never truly been a part of his secret agenda.
Has Baylan Been Overwhelmed By Whatever He's Sensing On Peridea? Baylan has been treading lightly on Peridea since they arrived, his words about the planet and whatever calls to him being airy and almost wistful. Being so close to the power he's been sensing could be revealing to Baylan just how potent it is, and if it's overwhelming him enough, then Baylan's decision to push Shin away could be out of his urge to protect her from it.
