George Pell is arguing his child sex abuse convictions should be overturned because of a 'fundamental irregularity' that prevented him entering a not guilty plea in front of his jury. 9News

Pell’s lawyers withdrew their bail application, saying “he believes it is appropriate for him to await sentencing”.
