So, even though he is the film's namesake and the face of the project, the actor's character seemingly does not exist within the real world of Argylle. What does exist, though, is the fictional spy's awful haircut, but there is a reasonable explanation behind Agent Argylle's look in the action movie.

Henry Cavill's Argylle Hair Looks So Bad Because Of The Book The Movie's Based On Argylle is based on the upcoming book of the same name by Elly Conway , which will be released on January 4, 2024, a month before Matthew Vaughn's movie. It is a bit unusual for a novel to be adapted into a film before it is even published, but that is the case for Argylle. As a result, not much is known about the story.

Argylle's front cover features a rough outline of Agent Argylle, who Cavill is playing in the 2024 action movie, and the drawing shows the character with Cavill's exact haircut from the trailer. So, even though the actor is not sporting his best look in his next onscreen spy adventure, it is accurate to the film's source material. If anyone can pull it off, though, it's Henry Cavill.
