Jameela Jamil has completed the feat of appearing in the MCU, DC, and StarTrek universe. Still, there is one more major franchise that she still sets her eyes on. Which franchise has stalled her from completing a 'nerd EGOT?'

Jameela Jamil sets her sights on a Star Wars villain role after playing characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, DC, and Star Trek. After achieving breakout fame with her role as Tahani in the existential sitcom The Good Place, Jamil went on to star in several other projects, many of which are part of larger franchises. Most recently, she voiced Ensign Asencia in the animated television series Star Trek: Prodigy.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY A fan of pop culture, Jamil has been vocal about her goals to star in The Fast and Furious and John Wick franchises but expressing a keen interest in joining Star Wars in particular. While speaking with SFX Magazine via CBR, Jamil doubled down her reasons to star in the Star Wars franchise, stating that the part would complete her nerd bucket list since she has already been involved in the MCU, DC , and Star Trek.

"I’ve done DC, I’ve done the MCU, I’ve now joined Star Trek, so it feels only natural that I should at least be allowed to do catering at Star Wars. I’ve been referring to it as my nerd EGOT – that would be the ultimate dream come true and fulfill every 12-year-old fantasy I had. I’d take literally anything, but I think a villain.... Right now we are so divided. We almost seek to misunderstand each other.

Who Jamil Could Play In Star Wars With Jamil gunning for a Star Wars villain role, there are several options as to who she could play. There have been several Star Wars television shows announced and in development, and given Jamil's previous job with MCU's She-Hulk, it's possible that she could return to Disney+ in a live-action or animated Star Wars series. Some possibilities include the Lando series, a future season of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, or Andor season 2.

Given Jamil's voice-acting prowess, she could also feature as a villain in a future season of Star Wars: Visions or The Bad Batch. There is no shortage of Star Wars projects for Jamil to potentially join, and plenty of morally questionable or corrupt figures for her to bring to life in the Star Wars world. While Jamil could go full Star Wars villain and portray a Dark Force user or an Empire associate, she could also play a regular sinister citizen on one of Star Wars' many planets.
