Melburnians are being offered free ice-cream as part of a push from the state government to highlight Victorian producers to residents.

Free ice-cream is being offered to Melbourne residents at select city locations until Sunday as part of a Victoria n government initiative.

On Friday, free ice-cream will be handed out at Queensbridge Square in the city, while on Saturday the truck will be at the Abbotsford Convent. Agriculture Victoria and the not-for-profit Food + Drink Victoria are delivering the initiative, in partnership with Billy van Creamy, a Melbourne ice-creamery.
