Mueller III’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin , a former CIA analyst and intelligence official who was one of the seven lawmakers who joined in the op-ed article, said the fact that in this case Trump was acting as president, not just a candidate as he was in 2016, and was specifically asking a foreign government for assistance in his election was “beyond the pale.”
