Mr Hines said in central and southern Australia, weather systems generally moved west to east, and a red sky at night could sometimes indicate calmer conditions on the way. While she is not a shepherd, Longreach resident Sue Pratt has lived on a sheep, cattle, and goat property for nearly thirty years."The colours tend to be more vibrant and vivid," Ms Pratt said."I try to take photos on my phone but I never ever do the whole thing justice.
