AFLW star Chloe Molloy has explained why she concealed the true extent of her knee injury from her teammates, while the high-scoring Hawks share the spirited approach adopted by their men’s team.

When Sydney took the field against St Kilda on Sunday, the players were unaware their co-captain Chloe Molloy had suffered a serious ACL injury.

“ I said, ‘I’m so sorry, I lied to all of you, I knew my results’... I had to mask it for a little bit because I did find out .
