, which Ms Euler runs to consider the big issues affecting students, parents and the school community, the three canvass the much-publicised teacher workforce shortage.by federal Education Minister Jason Clare and some startling suggestions on how to solve it, including from NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham.
Ms Euler and her deputies decided to swap their well-paying, high-status careers for the classroom for the same reason: they had all hit a point where they wanted to do a job that gave back to civil society and had a positive influence on the future. “Teaching isn’t seen as an intellectual, emotional, sociological and sometimes physical activity and isn’t respected,” Ms Mynott told the podcast.
