Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem director Jeff Lowe has opened up about why the iconic '80s theme song for the Turtles doesn't show up in the movie. The new iteration of the Turtles features a musical score composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. However, it does not include the original theme song from the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series.
Not really, because it was important to me — that's one of those things where it's like, say you put the 'Ninja Turtles' theme in the movie.
