OPINION: Why we're likely to get another interest rate cut on Tuesday to its lowest ever
They have political problems. Their nominations are in trouble because they are, to put it bluntly, grossly unqualified to govern the Federal Reserve.
Having resolve is important. The Reserve Bank isn't supposed to just do exactly what the market expects or wants it to do. Some of Australia's leading labour market analysts warn wages stagnation is undermining financial stability and social cohesion and there is no improvement in sight. In Brown v. Board of Education, which ruled racially segregated education unlawful, Mr Warren worked hard to ensure a unanimous opinion of the Court. That opinion required desegregation"with all deliberate speed" — a phrase that wasit allowed desegregation to proceed far too slowly, but ensured that the Court wasn't too far out ahead of the Southern states and allowed them to adapt rather than defy it.
