State coroner Terry Ryan is holding the tenth day of a five-week inquest into the attack, which also claimed the life of civilian Alan Dare, at a property outside Wieambilla on 12 December. Counsel assisting Ruth O’Gorman asked him whether he had found that the conduct of the trio on 12 December was essentially psychotically-driven “suicide by cop”.
He told the court on Monday morning that Gareth was the primary source of the delusions, with the others the secondaries. He believed that Learjets were dropping chemtrails over large parts of Australia, and fired at the planes, the court heard.
