A massive winter storm swept across much of the US over Christmas weekend, killing at least 60 people with about half of them in Buffalo, New York, where looters added to the chaos.

A video on Storyful showed several clips of the brutal wintry scene across the US. The wind toppled shopping carts and dragged them across the snow. Roads were covered in white and the snow piled several feet high up the side of a home.An aerial view showed a city blanketed in white.
