But Cohen’s work is not finished. While the Mets won more regular season games than the Yankees, they failed to win the East and never made it past the Wild Card Series. The Yankees trumped the Mets on both counts as well as home attendance. So, yes, Judge would go a long way in closing the gap.That brings the conversational road back to its starting point – and a hypothetical curiosity of its own.That’s unanswerable this early in the process.
