Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore takes the field before an NFL football game on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, in East Rutherford, N.J.Jerry Jones has said the organization’s goal is to keep both coordinators heading into next season.Kellen Moore is scheduled to undergo his second interview with the Dolphins on Saturday. The Cowboys offensive coordinator appears to be a finalist to become Miami’s next head coach along with San Francisco’s Mike McDaniel.
Moore’s first interview with the Dolphins took place on Jan. 20. It came in the same week he met with Denver and Minnesota and nearly two weeks after he spoke with Jacksonville virtually for their vacancies.Dan Quinn and Moore have been hot commodities during this hiring cycle. Head coach Mike McCarthy has consistently expressed his belief that Moore is qualified to rise through the ranks.
Moore’s playing career came to an end after the 2017 season. He then moved into position as the Cowboys’ quarterbacks coach.
