Freezing rain and sleet fell throughout central Pennsylvania on Sunday morning and early afternoon, leaving a thick glaze in some places. With temperatures forecast to fall to around 20 overnight, there’s concern about icy spots during rush hour Monday. For that reason, some school districts are saying that they are planning to delay the start of classes by an hour or two.that it will switch to remote learning for the week, with students not returning until Jan. 18. This is a change, the district said, necessitated by COVID-19 cases.
