"Rainbow" was a two-time nominee at this year's CMA awards, for song of the year and video of the year, winning the latter prize for the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip. Musgraves herself also won the award for female vocalist of the year shortly after her performance. The Muppet Movie in 1979.
