Terramin's lawyer, Nicolas Manetta, told the Environment, Resources and Development Court that Bird in Hand's proposal was a "huge development that goes way outside the limits that are set in respect of the threshold for non-complying developments". The submission also said the development would "impose on the established natural and rural character and the rolling vegetated landscape".
