Dozens of supporters including former Australian cricket captain Steve Waugh and boxer Anthony Mundine were among those rallying to support the controversial neurosurgeon.
The first witness to give evidence at a disciplinary hearing involving controversial neurosurgeon Charlie Teo said he and his wife were “desperate” when informed in 2018 his wife had only 12 to 18 months to live.
Over the weekend, Teo sent text messages and emails to rally his supporters. As a result, dozens turned up to the hearing that only had 17 seats for the public. “But I’m here. If you want to kick him, come kick me too,” Mundine said outside the inquiry being held in Sydney’s Pitt Street. “I have not recommended open resection of her tumour which would be high risk for causing neurological deficits without significantly improving her long-time outcome,” Lind wrote in his report.

Ms Di Russo said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in the business of “big, bold, brash statements aimed at titillating a US audience” as the pair tries to wrangle the “best of both worlds”. “Fergie has released a new saucy novel, and she will apparently talk about Meghan and Harry during her US book launch,” she said. “She has risen like a Phoenix from the ashes and back into the good books with the British public. “And I trust this will be even more so if she lands a couple of blows on Prince Harry on the way through.”
