A daughter of slain camper Carol Clay could be among those to give evidence in the murder trial of her mother's alleged killer Greg Lynn, as the ex-pilot's murder trial enters its second day of evidence.
Witnesses called in second day of Greg Lynn 's murder trial, accused of killing campers Russell Hill and Carol Clay Yesterday, Mr Lynn's lawyers told the Victorian Supreme Court he admitted to covering up the deaths of campers Russell Hill and Carol Clay but maintained his innocence to the charge of murder.
Other witnesses on Wednesday include Michael Allan, a friend of Mr Hill, three campers who were in the Wonnangatta Valley, and a park ranger. However, Mr Lynn's lawyers argued he was not a murderer, and that the concealment only took place because he wanted the disastrous situation to "go away". "You will hear this from his own mouth — in the face of that disaster, he made a series of terrible choices," Mr Dann said.Earlier on Tuesday, prosecutors described the case very differently, and asked the jury to find Mr Lynn guilty of murder once the evidence was completed.
