However, if you die, then you lose a portion of your Morale, and the only way to get it back is to kill the monster that killed you. That particular monster will gain that Morale boost, making it harder to take down. That creates a devilish risk and reward dynamic that sets it apart from the genre-standard process of retracing your steps to pick up lost experience at the site of your last death.
