Woman stabbed to death in Wembley had moved to UK from India for work
Tejaswini Kontham, who was from Hyderabad in India, was found dead by police at a residential property in Neeld Crescent, Wembley on Tuesday.A forensic investigator at the scene in Wembley following the deathOfficers arrived at around 10am where they found Tejaswini, who had moved to the UK to pursue higher education, and another woman, 28, with stab wounds.
Tejaswini was pronounced dead at the scene while the second woman was taken to hospital where her condition has been assessed as not life-threatening. A 23-year-old man, who officers previously named publicly, was located in Harrow at around 6pm on the same day. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at a north London police station where he currently remains.
