Kelly Dawson was jailed for six months and given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order
Kelly Dawson was arrested following a covert police operation by officers from Blackpool South’s Neighbourhood Policing Team. The 40-year-old was charged with 13 counts of shoplifting from multiple retail outlets across the Blackpool South area.
Last Thursday Dawson, of Burlington Road, Blackpool, was sentenced to six months in prison and also given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order. It prohibits her from entering the Morrisons Daily on Harrowside Road, Dunelm Mill at Squires Gate retail park, and the Tesco Express stores on Lytham Road and Highfield Road.
"I will reiterate my message that my team will continue to work both covertly and overtly across Blackpool to reduce crime." Anyone who sees Dawson in any of the above locations can report the breach through 101 or reporting it online.
