A child has been seriously injured in a crash involving two cars and two pedestrians at Victor Harbor this morning.

A child has been seriously injured in a crash involving two cars and two pedestrians at Victor Harbor, south of Adelaide.

SA Police said the cars collided on Seaview Road, just after 8:30am, with one of the cars hitting two people. SA Ambulance Service said a child had serious head and chest injuries following the crash, and was initially taken to the South Coast District Hospital. The child is now being transported by helicopter to the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide for treatment.Her condition is not yet known.
