Police say a 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after allegedly being stabbed by armed men who broke into their home in Adelaide's north-east.

Police say two people have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries allegedly sustained during a home invasion at Gulfview Heights .Three people have been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing at a home in Adelaide 's north-east during the early hours of the morning.

Police said they were called to a home on Nelson Road at Gulfiew Heights about 3:45am on Wednesday after reports a group of armed men had forced their way into the property and stabbed two occupants. A 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy have been treated for non-life threatening injuries while a third person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after being assaulted, police said.Senior Constable Kimberley Broad told ABC Radio Adelaide the group of men allegedly involved in the home invasion left the house in a car that was last seen turning onto Yulinda Terrace.
