A 50-year-old Westlake woman was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated after having numerous encounters with police on the same day.

At 5 p.m. the same day, Crocker Park security called the Westlake Police Department to report that a woman was passed out in an alleyway at the shopping center. Officers determined she was the same woman from the earlier bank call and sent her to UH St. John Medical Center due to intoxication. Officers found a Toyota pickup had lost control and struck a wooden flower box in the grass area in the middle of the boulevard. The driver of the Toyota appeared to be intoxicated. The 26-year-old Westlake resident was field tested and arrested for OVI and failure to control. His blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, according to a police statement.Officers stopped a car at 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 on I-90 for a license plate violation.
Employees were watching a couple remove security tags and conceal store merchandise. The man and woman were detained after they left the store. Over $550 in merchandise was recovered and returned to the store.
