British Transport Police is hunting for a man aged 65 to 70 for indecency on an Edinburgh train.
A passenger sleeping on an early morning train to Edinburgh woke up to find a naked man on a seat next to her.
The man is described as white, 5ft 6in tall with a medium/slim build, with short grey hair and a stubbly beard. Former transport minister Jenny Gilruth, who commissioned the study, said it demonstrated "just how exhausting it is to be a woman in Scotland in 2023 just wanting to travel home safely".
