Body found below McKenzie’s Saddle lookout near Nowra after emergency crews respond to fall on Monday
New South WalesEmergency crews were called to the lookout at McKenzie’s Saddle walking track at Buangla at 11.45am on Monday with reports a woman had fallen.
Police officers from the south coast district, police rescue and the Toll rescue helicopter were dispatched, and a short time later the body of a woman was found below the lookout. Guardian Australia understands that the fall is believed to be an accident and that family of the woman were at the site. The woman has yet to be identified.A report will be prepared for the coroner.
It is not the first death that has occurred at the scenic tourist spot, which is about 25km west of Nowra.news.com.au reported at the timeOnline reviews of the location say the lookout has scenic views of Yalwal state forest and is easily accessible.
