A woman has died after being found floating face down in the water by three teenage girls at a popular Sydney beach.
The 47-year-old was pulled unconscious from the water at Gordons Bay at about 1.40pm after appearing to have suffered a medical episode.

The fatal incident is the eighth coastal drowning of the summer, and the 18th since July 1 last year.
